First Class Degree in BSc Physiotherapy
Cliona graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a first class degree in BSc Physiotherapy. Since graduating, she has worked in both the acute hospital and private practice sector treating patients with a wide range of conditions. While working in hospitals, Cliona speciliaised in orthopaedic rehab, with particular interest in the hip and knee.
Cliona moved to working in private practice a year after graduating, working with University College Dublin's first teams. She worked closely with elite and sub elite athletes with a particular focus on running and field sport related injuries. Cliona enjoys a varied caseload, treating people from all backgrounds be it sporting or otherwise, assisting them to achieve their functional and fitness goals. Cliona uses a combination of therapeutic exercise and manual therapy to treat patients, and is passionate about an active approach to recovery.
In her spare time, Cliona loves to run, cycle, play hockey and explore all that Melbourne has to offer!
