Angus graduated as a physiotherapist in 2001 from La Trobe University after completing a sports science degree in 1997 at University of Ballarat. In 2009 he completed a Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Melbourne University.
He has managed professional athletes, semi-professional and novice athletes, from a variety of sporting backgrounds and provided physiotherapy coverage on game day, as well as management throughout the week.
Prior to this, Angus worked in the UK in a busy multidisciplinary sports clinic managing a caseload with Orthopaedic surgeons. He has worked alongside some of Melbourne’s leading Orthopaedic surgeons whilst working at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and also worked in the Emergency Department as a Primary Contact Practitioner, dealing with acute musculoskeletal injuries.
He has been a lecturer and tutor at the University of Melbourne as part of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program. Angus has also gained valuable experience in ergonomics, recently managing a business that provided onsite assessments, training and seminars across Victoria.
Angus played football with the U/18 Ballarat Rebels, North Ballarat in the VFL and Old Haileybury in the VAFA. Angus aims to accurately diagnose and set in place a management plan to ensure an accelerated pathway to recovery.
