Bachelor of Science (Doctor of Physiotherapy)

Alex graduated with a Distinction as a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne in 2018.  Prior to this he completed a Bachelor of Science, also at the University of Melbourne. During his studies Alex completed an internship in New York at the well-respected and progressive  Symbio Physiotherapy. Located in the heart of Manhattan, he was exposed to a number of emerging, best-practice treatment methods, including RedCord Neurac, helping to further his knowledge in both neurological and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Having played sport at a high level (including TAC Cup and VFL), Alex has a keen interest in the management of sporting injuries and helping athletes return to the playing field. His experience working with younger athletes includes coaching football, swimming and basketball squads.

Alex aims to combine both hands-on treatment and exercise rehabilitation to help you reach your desired goal. Additionally, he is particularly interested in pain science and will work with you to solve issues in this area.

Alex is currently a Physiotherapist with the U18 Calder Cannons Program in the NAB league. He’s also an avid sports fan, playing for the Old Mentonian’s Football Club and enjoys the outdoors and travelling.
