Dietician
Bachelor of Food and Nutrition (B.Sc) & Bachelor of Science (Hons)
Master of Dietetics
Caitie is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Accredited Sports Dietitian (AccSD) who delivers evidence-based, human-centred, and highly individualised dietary interventions. Most importantly, she ensures her nutrition strategies are practical and achievable, tailoring her approach to meet clients exactly where they are in their readiness to change.
Caitie has extensive experience working within elite high-performance settings. She currently serves as a VFL Dietitian for the Footscray Bulldogs, where she oversees match-day fueling, player hydration, and supplement programming. Her background in competitive sports also includes working as a Sports Dietitian Assistant with Melbourne United NBL as well as expanding her knowledge on intricate sports such as dance within her honours research in 2025.
Currently expanding her expertise through a PhD at La Trobe University, Caitie’s research focuses on the variables influencing nutrition education and behaviour change in dancers. This work will allow her to design targeted and industry-specific nutrition education guidelines to be implemented nationally for all dance organisations to ensure that dancers of all levels are being provided with safe, evidence-based and relevant nutrition education throughout their career.
Clinically, she has a special interest in sports performance, managing low energy availability (LEA) and RED-S in performing artists, and body composition tracking via ISAK Level 1 skinfold assessments. Living locally in the Bayside area, Caitie is an avid recreational runner who loves training for upcoming half and full marathons as well as spending time outdoors with her partner and her puppy.
